OVERVIEW
The Venture Capital Fund invests in "high-profit-potential" opportunities which could include companies that have acquired or developed "new" or "emerging" technologies and/or processes or that have created unique market "niches" for their products or services. Such companies might be classed as "Small-" to "Medium-Cap" in their capital structures and might be publicly traded or planning to be in the near future. Detailed analyses and "participatory management" by the Fund in such companies are requisites regarding these investments.

THE "VENTURE-CAPITAL" INVESTOR
The Venture Capital Fund is designed for discerning individuals whose preferences are for securities that might have unusually "high-profit" potentials. Investors in this Fund might be classed as "aggressive" in their objectives of increasing personal wealth. Securities sought by investors in this market segment might include those which comprise "emerging-growth" companies which might have limited, if any, commercial performance history. Portending significant future growth possibilities, such companies might be considered to be in a "developmental" stage where little or no operating revenues or profits might have been realized.

Typically, "aggressive" investors might place a substantial portion of their discretionary assets in the Venture Capital Fund. Remaining assets might be "balanced" according to personal "comfort levels" in other FIRST FUND company alternatives. Joining with other investors in an investment fund enables a greater degree of diversification in a portfolio, which might consist of a number of different types of "aggressive, high-profit-potential" investments, and which diversification minimizes the risk of loss.
